Dream Dictionary!

So I had the most BIZARRE dream ever last night. I was riding on a really tall bike with my Mom (like two stories tall) and I was holding on really tight. I felt unsafe like I was going to fall. My mom kept telling me to hold on and be careful. We were going really fast down a street in Chicago when I saw a guy sprawled out on the sidewalk. I panicked and climbed down the bicycle to rescue this guy. I called 911 and they would not help me. Finally he woke up and started walking into this light orb thingy. ANYWAY... I looked up a bicycle in the dream dictionary and this is what it said:

Bicycle

To dream that you are riding a bicycle, signifies your desires to attain a balance in your life. You need to balance work and pleasure in order to succeed in your current undertakings. If you have difficulties riding the bicycle, then it suggests that you are experiencing anxieties about making it on your own.

To see a bicycle in your dream, indicates that you need to devote time to leisurely pursuits and recreation.


...although this dictionary might be total crap, it still hold significance to my life.

Hello Everyone!

Hello, hello!
Welcome to my new blog, I am so excited about this! I want this to be a place where I can ramble about my ideas and keep an archive of my own ideas, lists, inspirations, likes, random thoughts, etc. I tend to be a very forgetful person and fail to remember all the cool, inspiring, and stimulating things I come into contact with on a daily basis. Here I can keep track!
So not only is this a place for me to keep track of my thoughts, but to also create an environment of sharing information back and forth! So please blog right back and keep me informed...


So right now I have 3 things I am definitely digging right now.

CANDLES! I am obsessed with candles, which is quite odd because my dad is a fireman- shouldn't I be the complete opposite? Anyway..my roommate and I have lite candles constantly ever since moving in and have gone through like 7. Right now I have a cinnamon blend candle in the living room and a tranquil relaxing one in my room. I also bought rain scented tea light candles that I have floating in a blue vintage candy dish with blue glass at the bottom.


My other new love is mosaics. I am doing a project in one of my classes where we have to create a space, blah blah blah, long story- but anyway I decided that I really want to do a mosaic garden type thing in my Mom's garden this spring. Not only would she benefit , but so would I! I think they are beautiful... :)


Finally RED LIPSTICK! I wore it as a pin-up girl this past Halloween and although it was a bit of a pain in the ass, (red lipstick isn't quite attractive on the teeth)it was totally glamorous, fun, and different! I'm a girl that usually goes for the pale pink look on the lips- but this was a fire engine red. I've been really getting into Mad Men lately and all the women in the show wear this awesome red lipstick. hopefully i'll try it out every once in a while.
